Healthy Raw Vegan Cereal Recipe

A lot of people struggle with what to have for breakfast during the fall and winter months. It may even be too cold for banana 'nice' cream.  This raw vegan cereal is the perfect substitution for sugar-laden breakfast cereals and pre-packaged oatmeal.

Raw Vegan Cereal

  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 1/2 Frozen Banana
  • 3 Dates
  • 1/3 cup mulberries
  • 1 cup water
  • A dash of cinnamon

Chop up a large honey crisp apple into small chunks. This will be the base of your raw vegan cereal. Use a sharp knife so that it dices up easily. Cut the dates lengthwise, then dice them into square-sized pieces and add them to your cereal. This will add sweetness and a bit of chewiness. Slice half of a ripe banana into half-sized coins and place into bowl. The other half of the banana will be used for banana milk later on. Sprinkle in mulberries for some added crunch, then stir in cinnamon.

To make the banana milk, use the other half of your ripe banana, as well as 1/2 of a frozen banana, and 1 cup of water. Banana milk adds just the right amount of sweetness to this raw vegan cereal recipe.
