This week we spoke with PumpUp member, @gibsonphysiq. Mark is a total powerhouse both in the gym and on the field. We asked him about his healthy lifestyle and why he loves PumpUp!

 Mark has been part of the PumpUp family for a while. He started using PumpUp close to 20 weeks ago in order to stay motivated to accomplish his fitness goals. Before PumpUp was introduced to Mark he trained and played rugby 3 days a week, ate anything he wanted, and did not engage in any extra exercise. Now that Mark is a full-time PumpUp member he has changed his eating habits significantly. He tells us, “I have started to eat clean now. That means lots of chicken and rice! I have also cut out junk food to only once a week if that! I go to the gym at least 3 days a week using PumpUp workouts as well as my own.”

Marks favourite part about PumpUp is the inspiration from all the PumpUp members that help keep him on track. Mark talks a lot about how inspiring everyone else is, but he is pretty awesome too! Mark has actually created his own challenge within PumpUp. For those of you who don’t know what I am talking about it’s called the “WOW” – woman of the week, and the “GOW” – guy of the week challenge. Each week he chooses to feature a PumpUp member who has done an exceptional job at inspiring and motivating others to feature on his page as the “WOW”/”GOW” how cool is that!? What Mark created with the WOW and GOW is a great way to get others to be inspiring themselves.

 Since using PumpUp Mark has seen an increase in his strength and visible changes in his appearance. His plan is to still build more muscle and increase his size with the help of PumpUp of course! When Mark isn’t keeping active with rugby and exercises that increase his strength and agility, he can be found eating his favourite meal a scrumptious chicken enchilada! Mark’s best advice to fellow PumpUp members is, “get focused and remember why you are wanting to do it!” He also says, “keep your workouts varied to stop you becoming fed up of the same routine.” Mark urges you to stay motivated by following other members on PumpUp and Instagram. Setting a goal for yourself can go a long way. Mark’s favourite saying? “Train insane, or remain the same.”
