This is my absolute favourite vegan chocolate smoothie of all time. It's a recipe from my first vegan cookbook - it immediately stood out to me and the book has been my companion for almost 2 years. You need to make this vegan chocolate smoothie: it's quick, delicious, and so versatile.
I always come back to it when I want a breakfast, a snack or a treat. So yes, you can have chocolate for breakfast. This vegan chocolate smoothie will do the trick. Drink it before heading off to the gym, too. It will fill you up, but you won't be too full. And if you're simply craving some chocolate, make this smoothie as fast as possible. (I am totally aware of the fact that this sounds like a commercial, but there's no sponsoring here. Just love).
For real. This smoothie really is worth a try especially during fall and winter. Who refuses chocolate drinks when it's cold outside? Personally, all I want to do is cuddle up in bed and watch my favorite TV show.
Small note: for presentation purposes, I served it as a smoothie bowl. To make it this way, I used only half the amount of liquid listed below. I topped everything with a banana, chopped nuts, chopped vegan chocolate, coconut flakes and agave syrup. I prefer this recipe as an actual smoothie!
