This banana mango smoothie was inspired by a small smoothie stand next to my University. The last couple of weeks were pretty rough for me, and my friends would bring me a banana mango smoothie to cheer me up. It made me so happy! So I decided to share a similar vegan smoothie recipe with you. I added a bit of coconut water and strawberries for some extra sweetness and flavour.
Make sure that you use really juicy and ripe mangos for this recipe. If they are too hard or if they're not ripe enough, they won't taste as good. I prefer to use thai mangos above all others - they're completely yellow, if you can find them in your local grocery store.
This banana mango smoothie was a life saver for me. It got me through University when I was tired and felt down. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Banana Mango Smoothie
- 1/2 cup Coconut Water
- 1 Mango
- 1 Banana
- 1 cup Strawberries
- Chia Seeds
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Pulse, then blend until smooth. Add ice if you desire a thicker smoothie. Top with chia seeds and enjoy!
