Vegan Power Smoothie

Most New Year's resolutions involve healthy eating in some way or another. This vegan power smoothie couldn't be healthier (if I had to say so myself)! It will provide all of the energy that you need to kick some butt in 2016. These ingredients will keep you full, helping you to stay away from sugary and salty snacks.

The basic recipe really is super easy. Below, I included all of the ingredients that I personally like to add, but you can totally decide if you want to mix in a fancy ingredient of your own. You can totally personalize your vegan power smoothie. I highly suggest you to look into some of the seeds and powders that I included, since their benefits are pretty impressive.

Let's raise our smoothie glasses to a great 2015 and an even greater 2016. May you have the strength to work as hard as you did in 2015 (or even harder in my case) and may all your dreams and wishes come a little closer to reality.

Vegan Power Smoothie

Basic Recipe:

  • A huge handful fresh baby spinach (or about 50 g of frozen baby spinach)
  • 3 bananas (make sure to use ripe ones!)
  • 100 g frozen raspberries
  • 100 g frozen cherries
  • 100 g frozen blueberries
  • 250 ml vegan milk (I used oat milk)
  • 250 ml cold water
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • Vanilla drops and cinnamon to taste

Optional:

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp acai powder
  • ¼ tbsp matcha powder

Directions:

  1. Just add all ingredients you decided to use into a blender and blend.
  2. How simple was that…?! Enjoy!
