Blend This Vegan Banana Mango Smoothie

Blend This Vegan Banana Mango Smoothie

Make this banana mango smoothie when you need a pick-me-up after a tough workout. Make sure that you use really juicy and ripe mangos for this recipe. If they are too hard or if they're not ripe enough, they won't taste as good. We prefer to use Thai mangos above all others - they're completely yellow, if you can find them in your local grocery store.

Broccoli and Kale Garlic Noodles

Broccoli and Kale Garlic Noodles

if you’re a busy mom/person, or you have a child/adult-child who still refuses to eat their greens, I definitely suggest giving these garlic noodles a try! You can always tell them that it's a new type of green pesto. With all the garlic and parmesan in it, you could barely tell the difference! Just a friendly FYI… be aware that this isn’t an appropriate lunch when you have to give a really important meeting, or if you’re going on a date. Unless your date eats these garlic noodles, too. Garlic breath is a silent but smelly killer.

Healthy Chilled Recipes To Get On Track | Get Healthy With Valentina

Cold weather doesn't have to get you down! I recently came back from Mexico to a cold Germany. Despite the cold, I wanted to eat chilled or really exotic food things make me feel a little more like I was at home. Of course, I changed some ingredients to make the dishes healthier because I wasn't exactly the healthiest person on earth when I was in Mexico.   Eating well is all about balance.

Easy Vegan Cereal - Ready In 15 Minutes!

The grocery store is filled with high-sugar, high-salt cereals. I decided to make my own vegan cereal instead— it isn't made with any artificial sweeteners either. This recipe is very simple and quick to make, and it can accommodate almost any diet. The key is to use melted coconut oil and maple syrup to bind and sweeten the mixture.

Delicious and Gooey Vegan Brownies

Delicious and Gooey Vegan Brownies

Tthese vegan brownies are the perfect way to satisfy your cravings. Why?

  1. They're healthier for your body. This vegan brownie recipe is full of healthy fats from avocado and dark chocolate
  2. They're healthy for your mind. Rather than resisting your cravings and bingeing later on, it's better to indulge on healthier substitutions. Plus, chocolate makes us plain happy (they stimulate the release of endorphins)!

If you're cringing because you heard the word avocado and chocolate together in the same sentence, don't be scared. Try these vegan brownies - I promise you'll love them. I used to be the biggest skeptic whenever I saw avocado on the ingredient list for dessert recipes - they aren't so bad!

How To Make A Smoothie Bowl

How To Make A Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls always look picture-perfect - but how on Earth are they made? This video tutorial by PumpUp member @rawincollege demonstrates how to layer all kinds of fruity toppings onto your blended creations. The trick is to arrange everything in concentric circles. To make a smoothie bowl, blend your smoothie ingredients together, spoon it out into a bowl, and level the surface of your smoothie with the back of a spoon. Slice up your fruits and arrange your toppings on the outer edge of the bowl first, before placing another 'circle' of toppings within that circle.
