How Sarah Lost 4 Dress Sizes With the Help of PumpUp

How Sarah Lost 4 Dress Sizes With the Help of PumpUp

"I decided that I had enough of being overweight and I decided to do something about it. I joined my local gym and used PumpUp to gain motivation from other members' progress." Sarah's goal was to eventually share an inspiring transformation of her own, and she's done just that. "With the help of PumpUp, I have lost 52 lbs, 4 dress sizes, 10 inches off my stomach, 9 inches off my waist, and 6 inches off my thighs," she shared. "I am healthier and happier. I want to continue my journey by getting leaner."

Why Kellie finally felt accepted after she joined a fitness community

Though Kellie's fitness journey began prior to joining PumpUp, she didn't have anybody to share her triumphs and challenges with. "I was at that point where I kind of felt lonely," lamented Kellie. "No one in my circle of family and friends understood why I was doing what I was doing. At times, they were negative." Though Kellie did receive motivation from Instagram, she was dismayed that it wasn't a platform that was specifically tailored to fitness. "I really wanted an app that I could join for fitness," she shared.

Adjusting to daylight savings time isn't for everybody...but it is for me. Why? Because it means SPRING is coming and SUMMER is only 12 weeks away!!!!!! I look forward to so many things: hearing birds chirping, shopping for skirts and shorts (...and swimsuits), eating and drinking with friends on an outdoor terrace, morning runs, etc.! BUT before I get all crazy excited, I still need to work on hitting my fitness goal before summer! I need a plan and I want you to join me. My doctor put me on rest for the past few weeks because of an old knee injury. It was the worst. If you know me, you know I love to exercise on a daily basis. It’s what I live by! Not being able to exercise was the worst punishment I could have possibly imagined. I don’t give place to negativity in my life so I figured that while I can't work on my body, I can sure work on developing myself.  I worked even harder on personal development and studied for hours on end. When the moment came for me to finally exercise again, I felt amazing.

I have always been an optimist: a person who doesn’t give up on herself nor on other people. There may be a mere 12 weeks until summer but you still have time to achieve your health and fitness goals. It takes 21 days to create an habit, 8 weeks for you to see that change and 12 weeks for people to see your results. By making the commitment to start now, you can really make progress by the time you hit June! What are you waiting for? It’s go time!

I want to help you to hit your fitness goals before summer time so that you can be happy, proud, and feel confident this summer. You will not hide your skin on the beach this year!

I'm launching my Spring Sweat To Summer Sexiness support group on March 23rd to help others stay accountable through motivation, tips, recipes, and much more! The idea behind this group is not only to help you with your goals but also to take a bit of pressure off your shoulders and make your life a whole lot simpler and easier. It'll help you to maintain habits that will last a lifetime.  Trust me, after seeing the results you will get, you will want to hold onto them forever! I will teach you how to fit your workouts into your busy schedule, show you how to meal prep properly and efficiently and much more!

Let’s just start with 21 days! Can you commit to 21 days?  30 minute workouts, a daily accountability check in to our online closed FB Group. If you are not a Facebook person, you have the option to apply on my webpage and check into the PumpUp app every day!

What are the requirements?

  • Complete the application on this page to be considered into my support group. Spaces are limited because I want to give my full attention to those who are ready to commit at 100%.
  • In return:  I’m going to support, guide, mentor, and help you set realistic goals so that the  program you have does not just sit on your shelf collecting dust but it is one that truly will transform your life and you get to do it with other like minded people!!!

Sound like a plan?!?!?  Ok lets make it happen!  Hit me up for the details today ->Email Me<-!  There are a limited number of spots available and they won’t be here for long!  Looking forward to transforming our winter bodies into summer bodies in the next few months with you!!!!

Why support during your fitness journey is more important than you think

Why support during your fitness journey is more important than you think

Ever since I started going to college, I joined the world of fitness and exercise to support my healthy lifestyle. I'll let you in on one little secret: I was terrified of going to the gym by myself. It was a difficult habit to pick up because exercise was completely new for me. Fortunately for me, I had (and still have) a group of friends that I can always rely on to exercise with me. All of us began at the same level: this was important because it provided an additional layer of support and understanding. Although each one of us has different goals, that doesn't come between us. Rather, we encourage and help each other to attain these goals every time we're at the gym.

My fitness journey before college: zero support

Having somebody who supports you when you have a goal is crucial. It can make the difference between you taking the initiative to go to the gym, or deciding to forego exercise.

Before college, I tried and tried to stick to a consistent workout regimen. These attempts all resulted in failure and I didn't know what I was lacking. I thought I was motivated enough but unfortunately, I was wrong. I went running by myself when I had the time, and I even tried to set up a running routine with friends in my hometown, but we ended up giving up not only because of the bad weather, but also because we were at different stages in our fitness journeys. I thought I would never be able to exercise properly, so I felt completely discouraged.

My fitness journey during college: tons of support

Once college began, I found what I was looking for: a cheery group of good friends who eventually became my workout partners. I even persuaded some of them to create PumpUp accounts with me! (@cristononstop and @pau_am2)

We plan to meet in our residence's gym a few days a week and do PumpUp workouts as well as a bit of extra cardio. We have been doing this since September 2014 and we've already noticed palpable changes: not only do we feel happier overall, but we're also more active in general because we keep each other accountable.

I can't stress enough how important good company is when it comes to finding motivation. If you think that you're lacking something in your workout routine but you don't know what it is, you might consider finding a bunch of good friends to do exercise with. They'll support you as you #MarchToYourDream and they'll make you feel ready to pursue a healthier lifestyle with confidence.
